CLUB DETAILS
BRIEF HISTORY

We have only been known as Small Heath Alliance since the start of the current campaign. It was decided that the club needed its own identity, one that it could take with it, even if we changed sponsor. For the 2 seasons previous to the current campaign we were known as Small Heath Gunmakers, and it was under that name that we first ventured into the Festival League. After winning the Solihull and District Oakbourne Premier division in 2004/2005 we felt to further the club both on and off the pitch we needed a new challenge and this is when we were granted entry into The Festival League. In our first season in the Festival League we were placed in the Senior Amateur division, and ended the season in a very respectable 3rd place, and in the process secured promotion the Festival League division 2.
Previous to our recent exploits in the Festival League we were an established name in the Solihull and District Oakbourne League, and had been a member club since our foundation in the mid 80’s. The club started life as Bordesley Labour FC and were formed by Alan Adshead and it has been fairly successful since day one.
