The Web Teams Windows Sidebar Gadget
Web Teams Gadgets | Windows Sidebar Gadget The Web Teams Gadget for Microsoft Windows Vista allows you to have content from your Web Teams site fed straight into your Windows Sidebar. Select the button below to download and install this. Please note that the Web Teams Gadget is only available for users with Windows Vista computers. Instructions on how to configure your gadget are below. 1. Once installed, configure your Web Teams Gadget
To set up the Gadget to point to your Web Teams site you must click the small settings icon to the right. This is the icon that looks like a spanner. You may have to hover your mouse over this area of the Gadget for it to appear.
2. Set the folder name for your football team
After clicking the settings icon you will see a pop-out dialog. Your should enter your team's folder name in this box.
3. Your folder name is displayed in your site's URL
Your team's foldername can bee seen in your webbrowsers address bar. The screenshot to the right shows this. In the example shown the foldername is northshields. The text "team=" should preceed your foldername in the address bar.
4. Your gadget is complete
Your Web Teams Gadget should now be set up correctly. The most recent news items and match reports scroll across the face of the Gadget. You can click on your team name to go to the homepage. You can click on the Web Teams logo to go to the Web Teams homepage. Should you be interested in more than one team, you can have as many Web Teams Gadgets as you wish on your Sidebar. |
